Hi, I’m Delilah

Philanthropist + Social Entrepreneur + Community Liaison

Hailing from Chicago, I embarked on my entrepreneurial journey in 2013, founding VIP Paints—a venture offering art workshops and art therapy across the city of Chicago, initially focusing on underserved schools and businesses. Inspired by working closely with artists, I expanded into curating by founding Vault Gallerie in 2017, where I fostered a passion for managing creatives and community leaders.

Amidst the challenges of the Covid pandemic and the social unrest of June 2020, I emerged as a transformative community leader, volunteering to enhance underserved areas through art and murals, amplifying the voices of local communities and fostering a sense of belonging. This initiative evolved into The Mural Movement, a nationwide non-profit with over 220 murals, championing unity, empowerment, and representation.

An advocate for marginalized groups, I've collaborated with entities like the Chicago Bulls and Champs Sports to offer enriching experiences and spearheaded various community initiatives, including food pantries, grocery giveaways, and annual community events. Additionally, I envisioned and facilitated the construction of a new basketball court in Chicago's South Side, hosting annual Summer Basketball Tournaments.

Driven by a commitment to public health, I've pioneered initiatives promoting awareness around Covid, vaccines, and HIV, reshaping narratives and fostering positive testing experiences. My strategic approach has also played a pivotal role in promoting voting and census awareness.

Recognized as a leader during Latino Heritage Month and acknowledged by esteemed institutions like the Obama Foundation and featured in Nasdaq Times Square, I continue to advocate for positive change and community empowerment on a national scale.
